The New 2017 Adria Motorhomes Line Up

The Slovenian manufacturer Adria, as stocked by Viscount Motorhomes, has enjoyed continued success over the 2016 season with sales growth increasing from 16% in 2015 to 28% in 2016. Europe’s largest single brand manufacturer of leisure vehicles, Adria is looking forward to another brilliant year in 2017.

Among the Adria motorhomes for sale by Viscount are the Sonic range, the Compact range, the Twin range, the Coral range and the Matrix range.

The Sonic Range

Adria have completely overhauled this A-class range with upmarket washrooms and ergonomic ‘S-shaped’ kitchens. They also feature concave overhead lockers to save space and new décor schemes.

Anyone opting for the Supreme trim will enjoy Alde heating, benefiting from optimum winterisation due to their double floors. There are two floor plans to choose from with fixed twin single beds or an island bed. Both of the vans are four berth and come in at 7.52m long.

The Compact Range

Adria’s Compact range was originally launched in the UK in February 2016, however they are presenting the Compact SLS for 2017 which features an intuitive rear slide-out. This allows the rear single beds to be extended without exceeding the six-metre body length of this van.

The Fiat Ducato base vehicle on which all Adria’s motorhomes are based has been improved with Euro 6 compliant engines. These are more efficient and leaner than the former engines but have an equivalent displacement and output.

The Twin Range

The Twin range will be continuing with four models through 2017, each comprising different lengths and sleeping combinations.

The smallest, the 4.9 metre long 500S, has sliding doors to both sides and the rear travel seats convert into single beds. This model is only available in Titan trim. The other models in the Twin range of Adria’s motorhomes are also available in the new Malaga trim.

The Twin 540 SPT and Twin 600SP have rear transverse beds, while the Twin 640 SLX has twin fixed single beds. All three models have sliding doors on the UK offside and half dinettes on the opposite side. All three models have two berths as standard, but there is one optional additional sleeping space in the 600 SP and two in the 640 SLX.

As with other Adria motorhomes, the Twin models have Fiat Ducato base vehicles. The 500 S and the 540 STP have a 3300kg chassis, and the 600 SP and the 640 SLX have the 3500kg version.

The Coral Range

There will be three models in the Coral range for 2017, an undoubtable best seller for Adria. They all have three berths and are 7.38 metres in length. The S 670 SL and SLT have fixed twin single beds, and the SLT has an end washroom. The S 690 SC benefits from an island bed and the washroom is split.

These models are available in Plus or Supreme trims and a choice of Forest or Horizon decors. Soft furnishings can be in White Santos or Leather Fumo. The new Platinum Collection trim, which replaces the 2015 Silver trim, is also available. This comes in Horizon décor with Mexico soft furnishings.

The Matrix Range

This is the seventh season for the Matrix range, and six models are available for 2017. These combine the benefits of low-profile coachbuilt vans with the spaciousness that overcab models provide. There are three trim levels available, with the M 590 SG being the only model still featuring the entry-level Axess trim. This model has four berths with four travel seats and a mid-lounge along with an end-kitchen layout. The body length is 5.98 metres.

Two five-berth models, the M 670SL and the M 670 SC, have Plus trim. The M 670SL is 7.38 metres in length and has fixed twin single beds. The 7.48 metre long M 670 SC has an island bed and both models have a split washroom and drop-down lounge beds.

Also in the Matrix range are the 7.81 metre long M 687 SBC with five berths and the six-berth M 687 SLT, which measures 7.7 metres. These both feature end washrooms, whilst the 7.76 metre long M 687 SL has a washroom in the middle. This model sleeps six but can have an extra berth specified.

The Matrix vans come with a choice of décor and furniture options and all have 2.3-litre 130bhp engines on a 3500kg chassis.
